QUALIFICATIONS / SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE/ COMPETENCIES (CORE/TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL) / LANGUAGE SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ASSIGNMENT (Please use as applicable)

• Master’s Degree in Social Sciences/Communication from a recognized University/Institution.
• Minimum five years of experience of communication in the development sector with focus on WASH and health
• Proven skills in communication, networking, advocacy, and negotiation.
• Understanding of the concepts of Social and Behaviour Change Communication
• Understanding of the concepts of Adult learning, Social Mobilization, IPC and Participatory methods of training, communication research
• Proven skills in undertaking training need assessment and performance gaps analysis to identify areas, topics and skills for trainings
• Minimum 5 years of experience of working within government systems with strong liaising skills
• Good track record demonstrating managerial skills and experience in administration of Public Health programs.
• Ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written and oral form.
• Excellent knowledge of the WASH sector
• Expertise in in social marketing and social mobilization
• Good track record demonstrating managerial skills and experience in administration of Public Health programs
• Experience of working with Government and UN agencies, implementing Flagship programs relating to WASH is an advantage
• Knowledge & command over Bengali, Hindi and English spoken and written languages
• Computer skills, knowledge of MS-Word (Word, Excel, and Power-point) is necessary.
• Excellent documentation, presentation, and communication skills
