Eligibility :-

1. Any Citizen of India may apply only for a single post of Assistant Teacher. Every candidate shall require to possess such relevant qualifications as mentioned in the W.B. School Service Commission. B.Ed. or an equivalent degree in Teachers’ Training is mandatory for all teaching posts.

2. Age: - As per the latest W.B. School Service Commission (to be counted as on 01.01.2022).




Method of selection:-

Selection consists of two Phases.

Phase - 1

A written examination will be conducted and it will contain two parts:

Part–I: Respective Subject for which the candidate has applied (45 marks) – Question Pattern will be MCQ type and there will be no negative marking.

Part–II: (15 marks) - Question Pattern will be MCQ type and there will be no negative marking.

Duration of Exam: Total 75 minutes allotted for Part-I & Part–II Examination.


Phase - 2: A short list of the candidates will be prepared based on the marks secured in the written test and the marks based on the academic and professional qualification as per WBSSC norms for calling interview when a candidate’s personality will be tested on 10 marks (5 for demonstrating lesson and 5 for viva-voce).


Fees of Exam: For UR and O.B.C candidates Rs. 300/- and for S.C. & S.T. candidates Rs. 150/- (Original caste certificate must be produced while collecting form to avail the benefit).

Distribution of Application Form: Application Forms will be available from School Office on payment of the said amount in cash, during the period 28.11.22 to 10.12.22 between 11.00 A.M.to 02.00 P.M.(excluding Sunday).

Submission of filled up Application Forms: Application Forms duly filled in are to be submitted in school office within 12.12.22 (11 A.M. to 2 P.M. on all working days).

Scale of pay: - As admissible by the Govt. of W.B.




General Information: Willing candidates shall have to apply to the Secretary in prescribed form along with:

a) Three recent passport size colour photographs (one to be pasted on application form and other two to be stapled at the left corner of application form).

b) Two self- addressed envelope (25cm X 11cm) with PIN code.

c) Self -attested photo copy of Admit Card of M.P (2 Copies).

d) Self- attested photo copy of Mark sheets and Certificates of all relevant Educational Qualifications (2 Copies).

e) Self -attested photo copy of Caste Certificate (2 copies, if applicable).

f) Self -attested photo copy of any one of the following documents, EPIC, Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN Card, Driving License, Physically Handicapped Certificate issued by the appropriate authority (2 copies).

g) No T.A will be paid to the candidate for appearing at the Examination Centre.

h) Appearance before the Selection Committee for Personality Test is mandatory.

N.B: Written examination may be held in the second week of January- 2023.


PRIMARY ADMIT CARD 








THE CANDIDATURE OF A STAFF OF A SCHOOL SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED, IF HE/SHE AT THE TIME OF INTERVIEW FAILS TO PRODUCE A ‘NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE’ FROM THE SECRETARY OF THE SCHOOL AUTHORITY.



Incomplete/incorrect applications shall be cancelled by the Selection Committee on the following grounds.
a) Signature of applicant in capital letters or signature of the applicant in the testimonials not tallying with the signature put in the applicant form.
b) Signature missing in any part of the application where it is required.
c) Under age or over age in respect of caste category.
d) Vacancy / Post not advertised.
e) Applicant does not have proper educational qualification.
f) Date of birth missing or age proof certificate not submitted.
g) Candidate has applied for more than one post or duplicate candidate.
h) Caste certificate of other state, caste certificate not from competent authority.
i) Caste certificate not submitted, if applied for particular caste category.
j) Degree not recognized or approved by the UGC.
k) Subject studied neither at the graduation Level nor at Post Graduation Level for the post of A.T..
l) B.Ed. degree from an Institution not recognized by NCTE.
m) Not filled up by Black / Blue ball pen.
n) Any other discrepancies are found while scrutinizing the application forms.
